Low lights, and black and white...

I have fallen in love with low light photography. I love being out in the city at night and watching all of the sights and sounds. Tonight my husband and I ventured downtown to Union Station to take pictures of the fountain. I caught some pretty nice light trails! I hope you enjoy!

New Lighting

Hello all! My new lighting came in today,  and my daughter and I have been having lots of fun playing around/practicing with it. Here are some of the shots. Hope you enjoy!

Good Night.

Cherokee People

The gentrification of Cherokee Street has been amazing to watch over the last ten years, but especially exciting in the last few years. I remember as a child, my grandmother would take me, my uncle and, my cousin down on Cherokee Street after church. We would have lunch at Woolworth, window shop and, end up at Globe. Sadly as I grew older the neighborhood declined. The only stores that I can recall surviving, until about a year ago, were Casa Loma Ballroom, Globe, Spectrum, and a handful of tax and furniture rental stores. The Cherokee neighborhood is now a wonderful melting pot of artist, shop owners,  restaurants, and bars. In just a few hours, all of my senses were entertained. I had a wonderful meal at Melt, enjoyed a beverage at The Art Bar and, worked on some low light photography, while listening to tunes coming from a variety of local venues. I ended the night with a light trail provided by a local skate boarder, alley cat by the name of Saint. I hope you enjoy the sights as much as I did. Peace,
